Because there is no organ like the heart to pump the fluid, circulation is slow and sporadic and dependent on our body’s movement to stimulate it. Lymphatic therapy, also referred to as manual lymph drainage, utilizes light hand pressure and movements to mimic the rhythm of the lymphatic system and stimulate the natural flow of lymph, promoting healing and accelerating recovery times.
